Sidnie Waller Killed in Rollover Crash on 5 Freeway near SeaWorld Drive in San Diego
San Diego, California (March 12, 2021) – 21-year-old Sidnie Waller has been identified as the woman who died after a vehicle crashed down a creek in Tecolote Creek, San Diego, last week Thursday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along Interstate 5 Freeway near SeaWorld Drive at about 9:40 p.m. March 4.
A vehicle was traveling southbound on the freeway and was attempting to exit the Sea World Drive off-ramp when it left the roadway and rolled down a creek.
The vehicle landed upside down in the creek.
Waller, a resident of San Martin in Santa Clara County, was seriously injured and was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center where she died on Sunday evening.
Another person involved in the accident refused treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
