Shingletown, California (June 26, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday morning in Shingletown, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash occurred at about 7:35 a.m. on westbound Highway 44 at Dersch Road.

A Subaru collided with another car for unknown reasons. The Subaru overturned in the crash.

Firefighters responded to the scene and closed all westbound lanes as investigators worked the scene.

An unknown number of parties sustained major injuries in the accident.

Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
