Yucca Valley, California (September 19, 2020) – 73-year-old Sheng Tu Lin, of Yucca Valley, has been identified as the elderly pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Yucca Valley Wednesday night, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 8:23 p.m. near the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Mohawk Trail.

Sheng Tu Lin was hit by a westbound 2005 Toyota Prius, in the number one lane, while crossing Twentynine Palms Highway on September 16.

Officials affirmed the Toyota Prius operator immediately stopped after striking Sheng Tu Lin.

Sheng Tu Lin Fatal Yucca Valley Pedestrian Accident

Sheng Tu Lin, who was walking home from his family restaurant, died in the accident.
