2 Drivers Hospitalized after Shasta County Car Accident on Keswick Dam Road and Quartz Hill Road
Shasta County, California (May 22, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that left two people injured on Friday in Shasta County.
The minor injury three-vehicle accident occurred on May 21, on Keswick Dam Road and Quartz Hill Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Mercedes was going eastbound on Keswick Dam Road when it rear-ended a white Subaru for undetermined reasons.
Following the collision, the Subaru reportedly crossed into westbound traffic where it crashed into a Dodge pickup truck.
2 Injured in Crash on Keswick Dam Road and Quartz Hill Road
The drivers of the Subaru and Dodge sustained minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment and to be tested for internal injuries.
Two people in the Mercedes, a man and a woman, fled the scene on foot and are being sought by the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
