Shanning Canja ID’d as Man Killed in Crockett Car Crash on Interstate 80 near Carquinez Bridge
Crockett, California (September 30, 2020) – Shanning Canja, 42, of Vallejo, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday morning in Crockett, Vallejo, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 10:00 a.m., on September 27, at the Pomona Street ramp to eastbound Interstate 80 near the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge. The bridge is commonly known as Carquinez Bridge.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray sedan was involved in the accident. The manner at which the accident occurred is yet to be established.

Canja sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the sedan on the road’s right shoulder with significant damage.
