Selma, CA: Fatal Vehicle Crash on Dinuba Avenue and Bethel Avenue
One Killed, One Hospitalized after Selma Car Accident on Dinuba and Bethel Avenues
Selma, California (March 23, 2019) – One person was killed and another critically injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Selma, according to a police report.
The accident took place at about 3:15 p.m. March 22, at the intersection of Dinuba Avenue and Bethel Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was driving an Acura westbound on Dinuba Avenue when he crashed into a southbound Freightliner big rig that was stopped at the intersection of Bethel Avenue.
Man Killed in Selma Two-Vehicle Accident
The man driving the Acura died at the scene of the crash. His passenger was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Critical Condition.
The driver of the big rig was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
