Sebastien Gallegos Among 2 Killed in Granada Hills Crash on North San Fernando Road

Granada Hills, California (November 22, 2019) – Sebastien Gallegos, 18, was among the two Santa Clarita Valley teens who were killed in a crash involving a garbage collection vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in Granada Hills, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The incident took place at about 1:40 p.m. November 20, in the 14100 block of North San Fernando Road.
Los Angeles police said three teens were riding in a white 2002 Acura when it crashed into the rear of the garbage truck. The Acura was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed.

The three occupants of the Acura were rushed to a hospital, where Gallegos and one other occupant were pronounced deceased. The third occupant was reportedly in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
The LAPD is investigating the collision.
