Rider Hurt in Seaside Motorcycle Accident on State Route 1
Monterey County, California (November 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a traffic collision in the area of Seaside on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The motorcycle crash, which was reported at about 7:06 a.m., occurred on Cabrillo Highway 1, also known as State Route 1 near Fremont Boulevard.
As per the CHP report, a motorcyclist was struck by a blue 4-door Mazda on the highway for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, the rider went down near the center divider of the freeway.

The victim suffered a leg injury in the crash. The patient was attended to by paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.
It was not clear whether or not the victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
A tow truck was requested to remove the motorcycle from the scene.
Limited details regarding the driver of the involved vehicle have been released.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
