Seamus Hodgin Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 37 in Vallejo
Seamus Hodgin Hospitalized after Vallejo Motorcycle Crash on Highway 37 near Sears Point Road

Vallejo, California (November 21, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was seriously injured Friday afternoon in a traffic collision on a highway in Vallejo has been identified as Seamus Hodgin of Benicia.
The major injury collision happened just before 4:50 p.m. Friday, November 20, on Highway 37 near Sears Point Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Hodgin was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Highway 37 between two lanes at approximately 10 to 15 miles per hour when he approached a silver Toyota Tacoma driven by Jaime Correa of Napa.
Correa reportedly switched lanes as traffic started to move forward. Hodgin then applied his brakes but ended up hitting the left side of the Tacoma.
The impact caused Hodgin to be ejected into another Toyota pickup. He hit the ground and sustained a head injury, authorities said.
Hodgin was taken to Sonoma Valley Hospital for treatment. His current condition was not available.
The right lane of the freeway was closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
