2 Hospitalized after Scotts Valley Crash on Highway 17 at Vine Hill

Scotts Valley, California (June 14, 2021) – A Scotts Valley crash involving a blue Honda Pilot and a gray Honda Civic Saturday morning sent two people to the hospital.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Highway 17 at Vine Hill.
Although it was not established how the collision occurred on the northbound side of the highway, the Honda Civic acquired major front-end damage.

Two unidentified people sustained minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of Highway 17 for about an hour.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
