Bakersfield, California (March 13, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, at least eight children were injured in a collision involving a school bus that happened in downtown Bakersfield on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at an unspecified time in the area of 17th Street and Chester Avenue.
As per the report, a Bakersfield City School District bus was headed to Franklin Elementary when it collided with a Honda Civic.
