At Least 1 Hurt in Saugus Car Crash at Bouquet Canyon Road and Espuella Drive

Saugus, California (January 21, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a sheriff’s patrol vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Saugus.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. January 20 at Bouquet Canyon Road and Espuella Drive.
Deputies said the Ford Police Interceptor SUV had its lights and sirens on and was responding to an assault with a deadly weapon report on Deer Springs Drive when it collided with a blue Ford Raptor pickup truck at the intersection.
At least one person in the blue Ford was treated at the scene.
Both officers in the patrol vehicle were ok.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
