Santa Rosa, California (October 23, 2020) – The Santa Rosa Police Department has released the name of the Santa Rosa motorcyclist who died in a collision with a vehicle Thursday morning in Santa Rosa.

The deadly motorcycle accident happened at approximately 6:30 a.m., on October 22, along Farmers Lanes.

 The mishap began when a Ford Focus turned left onto Hoen Avenue, right in front of a motorcycle ridden by 44-year-old Jorge Zamudio Morales northbound on Farmers Lane.

Morales then crashed into the passenger’s side of the Ford and was ejected from the bike upon the impact.

Sadly, Morales died in the accident.

There were no other victims injured, including 68-year-old John Waco of San Luis Obispo, who was operating the Ford.

Intoxication was not considered as a factor in the mishap. An investigation into the accident is underway.
