Santa Rosa, California (July 9, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Santa Rosa, authorities said.

The accident transpired at around 7:10 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, north of the downtown Santa Rosa exit.

As per the CHP report, a red Nissan pickup, a white Toyota, and a white Chevrolet sedan were involved in the mishap. The manner at which the crash transpired is yet to be established.

Following the accident, the Nissan pickup was facing the wrong direction and the white Toyota was on its side down an embankment. The Chevrolet sedan was smoking, according to the officials.

Minor Injury Crash on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa

One patient was taken to Kaiser Permanente Hospital for treatment. The victim’s injuries appeared minor.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.
