Woman Seriously Hurt in Santa Rosa Pedestrian Crash on Dutton Avenue near 8th Street
Santa Rosa, California (September 11, 2019) – A woman was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle on Monday evening in Santa Rosa, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 7:45 p.m. September 9, on Dutton Avenue near 8th Street.
Police said a woman was in the crosswalk trying to cross the street when a northbound vehicle struck her.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Her identity was not immediately released.
Police said the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Distraction by mobile phone was suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
