Man, Woman Hospitalized after Santa Rosa Collision on Bennett Valley Road near Enterprise Road
Santa Rosa, California (May 27, 2021) – Two people were injured Thursday morning in a car crash east of Santa Rosa, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At around 8:15 a.m., authorities received a report about the accident on Bennett Valley Road near Enterprise Road.
According to the CHP, an Acura sedan and a Toyota Tacoma collided for an unknown reason on Bennett Valley Road.
The impact caused the Tacoma to overturn.
Minor Injury Traffic Collision in Santa Rosa
Firefighters and the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated at least one person trapped inside their wrecked vehicle.
The male driver of the Tacoma and his female passenger were transported to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Their identities and current condition were not available.
The female driver of the Acura was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries before being booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI.
The two vehicles sustained major front-end damage following the wreck. The roadway was closed for over one hour as crews worked at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
