Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Maria Accident on Highway 166 at S Thompson Avenue
Santa Maria, California (June 26, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic crash that happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 166 in Santa Maria, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 2:31 p.m. at the intersection of S Thompson Avenue.
A black Kia Optima and a white Honda SUV collided, blocking the roadway.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the collision. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
