Santa Maria, CA: Minor Injury Rollover Crash on Highway 135
1 Hospitalized after Santa Maria Crash on Highway 135 near Preisker Lane
Santa Maria, California (December 30, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle rollover accident on Tuesday morning in Santa Maria, authorities said.
The minor injury accident happened shortly after 9:30, on December 29, on Highway 135 near Preisker Lane and Holiday Inn.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver got off the freeway then back on and failed to yield, causing a vehicle to roll over.
The driver was reportedly from out of town and was lost.
Rollover crash in Santa Maria Results in Minor Injuries
The driver from out of town sustained minor injuries, including pain in his leg. The driver was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center.
Traffic on the northbound and southbound Highway 101 off-ramps was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
