2 Injured in Santa Maria Accident on US Highway 101 near Betteravia Road
Santa Maria, California (March 22, 2019) – Two people were hurt in an accident that involved two vehicles in Santa Maria Thursday morning.
The collision, which took place at around 10:46 a.m. March 21, occurred on US Highway 101 just north of Betteravia Road.
The accident occurred when two vehicles collided head-on at US Highway 101 for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, one of the involved vehicles overturned onto its roof.
Two Hospitalized after Santa Maria Rollover Crash
As per the reports, two people were trapped inside the overturned vehicle. The victims were extricated by the firefighters who responded to the scene shortly after the crash. The identities of the two injured parties were not revealed to this time.
No further information concerning the cause of the accident was provided.
The police are carrying out an investigation into the incident.
