At least 1 Hurt in Scotts Valley Head-on Accident on Mount Hermon Road
Santa Cruz County, California (June 5, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a head-on collision that involved two vehicles in Santa Cruz County Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 1:49 p.m. June 5, on Mount Hermon Road, just west of Locatelli Lane.
The accident happened when a minivan and a Toyota Prius crashed on the roadway. An initial report showed that the driver of the gray Ford Windstar minivan allegedly drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed into the blue Toyota Prius. Due to the impact, the van ended up on the right shoulder, and the other vehicle was in traffic lanes.
At least one person was transported to the hospital by the paramedics for medication. The current condition and the name of the injured party have not yet been revealed to this time.
Meanwhile, the detectives handling the case are still gathering more details and information to identify the leading cause of the crash.
