Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Cruz Car Collision on Highway 1 near Morrissey Boulevard
Santa Cruz, California (June 29, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said minor injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle collision that transpired Monday afternoon in Santa Cruz.
At around 4:28 p.m., a Honda sedan collided with a white Chevrolet van on southbound Highway 1, just south of Morrissey Boulevard under unclear circumstances.
The vehicles were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes after the crash.
CHP said the accident resulted in minor injuries and an ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid. It remained unclear if anyone was hospitalized.
The Honda acquired major front-end damage and the van major front- and rear-end damage.
