Seven Injured in Santa Clarita Collision on Interstate 5 Freeway near Hasley Canyon Road

Santa Clarita, California (May 29, 2021) – Several people were injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic collision in Santa Clarita, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 2:07 p.m. on the southbound side of Interstate 5 Freeway near Hasley Canyon Road.
CHP said two vehicles collided in the southbound lane of the freeway.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to seven people who sustained injuries from the crash.
The identities of the victims and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
The crash caused the closure of the left two southbound lanes of the interstate.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
