Child Injured in Santa Clarita Crash on Newhall Ranch Road
Santa Clarita, California (December 9, 2019) – A child was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Monday in Santa Clarita, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported in the 23000 block of Newhall Ranch Road near Bridgeport Elementary School.
According to the report, the vehicle was trying to make a turn into Newhall Ranch Road near Grandview Drive when it struck the child.
Several drivers who witnessed the collision stopped at the scene and helped the child.
Child Injured in Santa Clarita Pedestrian Crash
Emergency crews responded to the incident and transported the child to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the involved vehicle also remained at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
