Child Injured in Santa Clarita Pedestrian Crash near Jakes Way and Manzanita Lane
Santa Clarita, California (December 19, 2019) – A child was injured in an auto-pedestrian collision in the Park Sierra community on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported shortly before 8:20 a.m. December 18, in the 27300 block of Jakes Way and Manzanita Lane.
According to the report, emergency crews responded to the incident and attended to a child, who had been struck by a vehicle near a school bus stop.
Child Hospitalized after Santa Clarita Pedestrian Crash
The child was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
The identities of the pedestrian and the driver involved were not immediately released.
Manzanita Lane was temporarily blocked as officials the scene was examined and cleared.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
