Rider Dies in Santa Clarita Motorcycle Accident on 14 Freeway and Newhall Avenue

Santa Clarita, California (May 20, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a big rig Thursday evening on a freeway in Santa Clarita, according to authorities.
The California Highway Patrol said the deadly crash was reported at around 6:50 p.m. on the northbound 14 Freeway and Newhall Avenue.
Witnesses told the authorities that the motorcyclist and the big rig collided on the freeway.
The impact sent the motorcyclist flying through the air and onto the ground.

Sadly, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. The name of the rider has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The Newhall Avenue onramp to the northbound 14 Freeway was closed following the wreck.
