Santa Clarita, California (April 7, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said major injuries were suffered in a traffic collision that took place Tuesday morning at an intersection in Santa Clarita.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 6:20 a.m., where Sierra Highway and Robinsong Road meet.
A silver Toyota Prius and a silver Toyota 4Runner collided under unclear circumstances.
Responding emergency crews said major injuries were sustained in the crash. The exact number of patients was not mentioned.
Investigators closed the intersection on both directions for about an hour following the accident.
Towing services removed both vehicles from the scene.
