One Killed in Santa Clarita Car Crash on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Sand Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California (February 22, 2021) – One person died following a single-vehicle traffic accident in Santa Clarita early Sunday morning, according to a local news source.
The California Highway Patrol said the deadly wreck happened at around 2:23 a.m. Sunday, February 21, in the southbound lane of Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Sand Canyon Road.
According to the CHP, a vehicle was traveling southbound on the freeway when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway and slammed into a metal beam guard rail.
The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to split in half.
