Rider Killed in Santa Clarita Motorcycle Crash on 14 Freeway near Soledad Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California (May 3, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash that killed one person in Santa Clarita.
As per the police logs, the crash transpired just after 12:15 p.m. on the southbound 14 Freeway, just north of Soledad Canyon Road.
The California Highway Patrol said two motorcycles, for unknown reasons, collided on the roadway.
One of the riders was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim will be released after proper notification of next of kin.
Traffic on No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the southbound freeway was stopped following the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
