Santa Clarita, California (February 28, 2021) – One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Wednesday evening in Santa Clarita, authorities said.

The deadly accident occurred at about 7:59 p.m., on February 24, on North Sierra Highway at Clampitt Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle crashed into the side of a hill and caught fire.
