At Least 1 Injured in Santa Clarita Big Rig Crash on 14 Freeway at Soledad Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California (July 3, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a big rig collision Tuesday morning in the area of Santa Clarita, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 6:18 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, on 14 Freeway at Soledad Canyon Road.
As per the CHP officials, two semi-trucks crashed for reasons yet to be determined.

Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to remove the vehicles from the site.
A SigAlert was issued closing all lanes following the collision. The roadway was cleared as of 11:40 a.m.
No further details concerning this crash were provided.
An investigation is underway.
