Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Barbara Collision on Highway 101 near Hot Springs Road Off-Ramp
Santa Barbara, California (April 29, 2021) – Minor injuries were suffered in a motorcycle accident that happened Wednesday afternoon in Santa Barbara, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place at about 4:47 p.m. on Highway 101, just south of Hot Springs Road off-ramp.
A motorcycle and a car collided under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help those involved in the crash.
The report said only minor injuries were sustained in the accident but did not mention the number of patients. It was also not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of Highway 101, just south of Hot Springs Road, were closed for an unknown duration following the incident.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
