Driver Killed in Santa Barbara Car Crash on West Camino Cielo
Santa Barbara, California (April 26, 2021) – A driver was killed Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash north of Santa Barbara, according to a local news source.
The accident was reported at about 12:46 p.m. Sunday, April 25, in the 7000 block of West Camino Cielo.
As per the report, a grey Jeep overturned on its side on a dirt road.
As the Jeep was overturning, the driver was partially ejected and was pinned by the vehicle.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the driver from the wreckage.
The driver, described as a victim in their 20s or 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
West Camino Cielo near the gun club was closed following the wreck.
The accident remains under investigation.
