3 Injured in Santa Barbara Pedestrian Accident at Anacapa Street and Anapamu Street

Santa Barbara, California (January 13, 2019) – Three pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle Saturday morning at an intersection in Santa Barbara, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 12 in the area of Anacapa and Anapamu streets.
As per the report, an unspecified vehicle was traveling southbound on the one-way Anacapa Street when it turned onto Anapamu Street. For an undetermined reason, the vehicle then struck three pedestrians who were trying to cross Anapamu Street.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found all three injured pedestrians. One patient was then transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in unknown condition. The other two victims suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
The driver involved was reportedly cited for failure to yield to pedestrians.
The crash remains under investigation.
