Woman Killed, Several Injured in Santa Ana Crash at Third Street and Main Street

Santa Ana, California (February 6, 2021) – A woman was killed in an alleged DUI accident that left several others injured on Saturday morning in Santa Ana, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 5:13 a.m. at the intersection of Third Street and Main Street.
According to the police, a Chevy, driven by James Martin Diaz, of Corona, was headed southbound on Main Street when it crashed into a Kia that was traveling eastbound on Third Street.

Sadly, the woman, who was in one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Other occupants of both vehicles were taken to hospitals for treatment, the officials said.
Diaz was arrested at the hospital for suspicion of felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. He remained in custody at a hospital.
