Pedestrian Killed in Santa Ana Crash at Sullivan and Willits Streets
Santa Ana, California (February 24, 2021) – A pedestrian accident that happened at an intersection in Santa Ana Tuesday morning resulted in the death of an elderly woman.
The fatal crash took place in the area of Sullivan and Willits Streets Shortly before noon.
The woman was struck by a vehicle operated by an 89-year-old man southbound while crossing the street in a crosswalk.
Santa Ana Pedestrian Accident Left Female Party Dead
The pedestrian, in her 80s, died at the hospital while undergoing treatment of critical injuries.
The involved motorist escaped the scene about two blocks away but was later traced by the police.
Intoxication was not considered as a factor in the mishap.
The accident remains under investigation.
