San Ysidro Hit-And-Run Accident on East San Ysidro Boulevard near Interstate 805 Left Woman Dead
San Ysidro, California (October 16, 2020) – The San Diego Police Department is investigating the circumstances that led to an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident early Thursday morning in San Ysidro.
The fatal crash was reported at approximately 1:00 a.m. on East San Ysidro Boulevard near Interstate 805.
Police said a female party was struck by a gold-coloured SUV while walking in the crosswalk in the morning hours.
Meanwhile, the SUV operator did not stop to render aid and escaped the scene.
Fatal San Ysidro Pedestrian Crash Early Thursday Morning
The woman, in her 40s, reportedly died in the accident.
Authorities are gathering more evidence to locate the suspect.
