At Least 1 Injured after San Rafael Accident on Highway 101 and Francisco Boulevard
San Rafael, California (March 16, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in the area of San Rafael, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 1:17 p.m. Friday, March 15, on northbound Highway 101, just south of Francisco Boulevard.
As per the report, four vehicles including a white Toyota Corolla crashed for unknown reasons. Two vehicles went off the highway following the accident.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately available.
The Toyota sustained significant front-end damage and minor rear damage as a result of the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
