Major Injuries Sustained in 80 Freeway Motorcycle Accident near San Pablo Dam Road
San Pablo, California (May 13, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that took place Monday morning on a freeway in San Pablo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the accident happened at about 7:03 a.m. on westbound 80 Freeway, just east of San Pablo Dam Road.
Officers said a Suzuki motorcycle and two cars were involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist was found down in the No. 2 lane after the accident.
Responding paramedics confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the accident. The exact number of patients was, however, not mentioned.
The motorcycle was towed away from the accident scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash and the responsible party.
