Pedestrian Hospitalized After San Pablo Traffic Accident on Alpine Road at Bayo Vista Avenue
San Pablo, California (October 18, 2019) – A male party was transported to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision in the area of San Pablo Wednesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The pedestrian accident, which happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. October 16, occurred in the area of Alpine Road and Bayo Vista Avenue.
The CHP said an elderly man was strike by a school bus while walking on the highway for an unknown reason.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After San Pablo Traffic Accident
The victim was attended to by fire department officials along with the paramedics who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck.
The patient was then rushed to John Muir Health-Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The identity and the current condition of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
It was not clear whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The investigation is still ongoing.
