1 Hospitalized after San Pablo Crash on 80 Freeway near El Portal Drive
San Pablo, California (October 15, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision Monday morning in the area of San Pablo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 9:57 a.m. Monday, October 14, on westbound 80 Freeway, between El Portal Drive and San Pablo Dam.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to one person who complained of back pain as a result of the accident. The patient was transported to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center for treatment. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 4 following the crash. The roadway was opened as of 10:36 a.m.
No other details regarding this crash were provided.
