At Least 1 Hospitalized in San Pablo Crash on 80 Freeway near El Portal Drive
San Pablo, California (September 22, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a traffic crash Sunday afternoon in the area of San Pablo, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 3:52 p.m. Sunday, September 22, on eastbound 80 Freeway, just east of El Portal Drive.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. One party was transported to Kaiser Permanente Hospital for treatment. The patient’s name and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 1 following the crash. The roadway was opened as of 4:21 p.m.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
