San Mateo County, CA: Suspected DUI Multi-Vehicle Accident on South Spruce Avenue
3 Injured in San Mateo County Crash on South Spruce Avenue
San Mateo, California (March 22, 2019) – Three people were injured in a collision that involved a suspected DUI driver on Tuesday afternoon in San Mateo County.
According to a police report, the wreck happened at about 4:30 p.m. March 19 in the 100 block of South Spruce Avenue.
Police said a San Francisco woman was driving when she struck a vehicle and caused a chain-reaction collision with two other vehicles. The woman was reportedly riding with her two children when the accident happened.
Three Injured in San Mateo County Crash
Three people sustained minor injuries and one of them was taken to a hospital.
The female driver and her children were unhurt in the crash.
Police arrested the female driver at her San Francisco home. She was taken into custody on charges of DUI and child endangerment.
The crash is under investigation.
