2 Passengers Injured in San Mateo County Crash on Highway 1 near Pacifica

San Mateo County, California (May 25, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in San Mateo County, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported at about 3:12 p.m. May 24, on Highway 1, just south of the Devil’s Slide Tunnel.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided head-on on the highway.
Two Hospitalized after San Mateo County Crash
Two passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were both taken to a hospital for treatment. The drivers were not injured.
The crash caused a closure of Highway 1 for over one hour as the scene was cleared.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
