Fatal Injuries Reported in San Mateo County Car Accident on Interstate 280 near Highway 92 Overpass
San Mateo County, California (September 8, 2020) – Fatal injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash on Monday morning in San Mateo County, authorities said.
At about 10:20 a.m., on September 7, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident on southbound Interstate Highway 280, under the State Highway 92 overpass.
According to the CHP, the vehicle crashed into the highway’s center divider in unclear circumstances.
At least one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
