Minor Injuries Sustained in San Mateo Accident on Highway 101 near Poplar Avenue
San Mateo, California (October 12, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a multi-vehicle collision Friday night in the area of San Mateo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 9:18 p.m. Friday, October 11, on southbound Highway 101, just north of Poplar Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, four vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of injured parties and their current condition was not immediately provided.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site
One of the vehicles overturned blocking lanes 3 and 4 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 10:46 p.m.
No other information regarding this collision was provided.
An investigation is underway.
