San Marcos, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on South Bent Avenue
Rider Hospitalized after San Marcos Motorcycle Accident on South Bent Avenue near Grand Avenue and West San Marcos Boulevard
San Marcos, California (June 29, 2020) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Sunday evening in San Marcos, authorities said.
The major injury crash occurred at around 6:15 p.m., on June 28, on South Bent Avenue, between Grand Avenue and West San Marcos Boulevard.
As per the police report, the motorcyclist was heading northbound in the parking lot of the Fry’s Electronics store on South Bent Avenue when, for unknown reasons, the rider crashed into the driver’s side of a westbound two-door Acura sedan.
The rider was reportedly ejected onto the roadway following the collision.

The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the accident.
The occupants of the Acura were not injured in the mishap.
Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
More details about the collision were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
