Man Injured in San Marcos Pedestrian Crash on Nordahl Road and State Route 78
San Marcos, California (July 17, 2019) – A man on a wheelchair was struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in San Marcos, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident occurred at about 4:40 p.m. July 16, on Nordahl Road and State Route 78.
Deputies said a man in a wheelchair rolled off the sidewalk into Nordahl Road and was hit by a vehicle that was turning right onto the State Route 78 onramp.

The victim was taken to a hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies said the pedestrian may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The woman driving the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the incident.
