San Marcos, California (June 10, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Sunday night in the area of San Marcos, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 10:37 p.m. Sunday, June 9, on eastbound Highway 78 at San Marcos Boulevard.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. One person was transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. The name of the injured party and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 4 following the crash.
The roadway was opened as of 11:03 p.m.
