At Least 1 Killed in San Juan Capistrano Car Accident on Interstate 15 near Highway 73 Saturday morning
San Juan Capistrano, California (October 21, 2019) – At least one person was killed Saturday morning in a traffic accident in San Juan Capistrano, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened shortly after 8:38 a.m. Saturday, October 19 on the Interstate 15 Freeway near Highway 73.
As per the CHP report, a red pickup truck and a black Honda Pilot were involved in the crash. Details of what led up to the accident are unknown at this time.
Authorities said at least one person died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
