San Jose, California (April 6, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday morning in San Jose, as per a police report.

The collision took place on Wednesday, April 3, on Story Road at McGinness Drive.

The California Highway Patrol said a teen drove off after carjacking a Nissan Sentra and plowed into a Dodge Challenger in the area of Story Road at McGinness Drive.

Two Injured in Suspected Hit-And-Run Crash in San Jose

The driver and the passenger in the Dodge sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The teenager fled the scene, but he was later arrested at home on Wednesday night and booked into the Santa Clara Juvenile Hall on suspicion of carjacking, robbery, and assault.

The accident remains under investigation.
